Quite a remarkable part of our fair trade gold jewellery consists of rings and wedding rings. On the one hand we cast aesthetically modern ring models, e.g. our grass rings by ourselves in fair trade gold. For these rings we exclusively use the fair trade gold of our certified supplier. On the other hand we also offer ring models with a more classic look, here you can find our gold rings with square and oval profiles . These are made of 100 percent recycled gold. The cost for this type of fair trade gold already has got much more modest recently. As a result we do not even charge a premium over "conventional" won gold for these rings. So the are some fairly traded bargains on this webshop!
Rings with high symbolic value: wedding rings in Fair Trade Gold
The first requests for fair-traded gold we received per email and in our conventional shops were almost exclusively requests for wedding / Partner rings. We ourselves think that this is due mainly to the fact the wedding rings carry a high symbolic value at the wedding ceremony. Understandably a growing part of our customers prefers to make the ritual exchange of rings with a clear conscience. At Schmuckwerk-Shop that is no longer a problem, almost all of our wedding rings in gold are also available in a Fairtrade version.
